Your Mac provides several tools to help you identify it. The simplest is About This Mac, available by choosing About This Mac from the Apple  menu in the upper-left corner of your screen. The other is the System Information app. Learn how to use these tools to identify your Mac.

If you don’t have your Mac or it doesn’t start up, use one of these solutions instead:

  • Find the serial number printed on the underside of your Mac, near the regulatory markings. It’s also on the original packaging, next to a barcode label. You can then enter that serial number on the Check Coverage page to find your model.
  • The original packaging might also show an Apple part number, such as MQD32xx/A (“xx” is a variable that differs by country or region). You can match the Apple part number to one in the list below to find your model.

Rubic’s Cube is obviously one of the most complex-to-solve and perplexing mysteries when you first come across that 3×3 cube. Many people buy it as a fantasy but after several failed attempts, finally dump it to save another of their beautiful days ending in frustration. After giving a good twist to all the rows and columns, the process is almost irreversible. Neither can your mind remember all the steps in reverse sequentially, nor can you find any alternate route. But after several failed attempts, you do finally find your way to the centre of the puzzle and the feeling of putting all the pieces together at the right place is awesome. So however challenging it is, all your hard work finally pays off. So if you like twists (as we know), here we have combined two different species of games, Rubic’s Cube and Tetris, and guess what we’ve got; AirCube!

AirCube is the latest iOS app that has been developed by Jan Fontecilla. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 8.2 or any later version of the OS. It has also been optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. They also offer an Apple Watch version.

As I said, AirCube is an inorganic mix of Rubic’s Cube and Tetris. Here, you’re given a de-structured cube that you have to fix and bring it to its original shape. Just like the original cube consists of different pieces fixed together to form the cube; here many of such fragments have been pulled out and glued randomly on the top of other parts obtruding outside. You have to pick such pieces and put them to the vacant spaces in minimum number of moves. It might seem to be not-that-tricky but once you’re into the game, the conditions are too hostile for you to survive easily.

This is a 3D game. Once you select a piece to move, then you have to rotate the cube and find the vacant space. But due to spatial parallax, sometimes you won’t be able to locate that easily. In fact at higher levels, the pieces are so scattered that it becomes very difficult to confine your imagination to a defined set of coordinates and most of the time you move the piece to a location that’s finally going to stay out-of-the-box. With reducing number of moves at each level and 60 such levels lined-up for you, you’re certainly going to have a tough time.

The game boasts high-end graphics with equal measure of technical precision that was required for it to create the same effect as it does now. The animations are smooth and the swipe controls work equally well. The very moment you enter the game, it seems as if you’re viewing the world from an engineer’s glasses as everything’s so neat, accurate and calculated.

Overall, AirCube is an illusion designed so beautifully that elusion is not an option!

The app is available for free in the App Store for ios device and Apple iwatch..
