Microsoft Flight Simulator (often abbreviated as MSFS or FS) is a series of amateur flight simulator programs for Microsoft Windows operating systems, and earlier for MS-DOS and Classic Mac OS.It is one of the longest-running, best-known, and most comprehensive home flight simulator programs on the market. It was an early product in the Microsoft application portfolio and differed. The Eighth Circuit’s decision in United States ex rel. Planned Parenthood addresses this very issue.9 As this Note argues, the Thayer decision not only departs from the Eighth Circuit’s previous position within the circuit split, but it also further contributes to the confusing variance of nuances and interpretations that exist regarding how to apply Rule 9(b) to FCA claims.10.

The University of Arkansas College of Engineering is offering students and families the opportunity to participate in our engineering summer camps from the safety of their home. Most materials will be provided and shipped via FedEx home delivery. Participants will use online videos to guide them through camp activities with camp facilitators being available for questions two hours per day (10-11am and 6-7pm Central Time) during designated camp weeks.
Activities can also be completed outside of these weeks using only the materials kits and videos.
Materials kits and virtual instruction will be$60. Families will be expected to provide basic supplies such as scissors, pencils, pens, and other required items as noted.
Scholarships are available to those who qualify for free or reduced lunch or have other extenuating financial circumstances that would make participation a hardship.

Helping Everyone Realize Opportunities in Engineering & Science

Interactive Sessions: June 7-11 and July 5-10 (Registration Closes 6/19)

Students will use the engineering design process to explore the superhuman! Participants will have the opportunity to design, build, and test engineering concepts related to the powers of their favorite superheroes. Topics include DNA science, centripetal force, circuitry, and many more!
Families must provide basic school supplies (scissors, paper, pencil, etc.), basic kitchen supplies (bowls, glasses, measuring spoons), one empty paper towel roll, a phone (to use as calculator and stopwatch), one empty 2-liter bottle, table salt, and five fresh strawberries.
Plight of the Bumblebees
Engineering Solutions to Pollinator Extinction
Grades: 3-6
Interactive Sessions: June 14-18 and July 12-16 (Registration Closes 6/25)
Maximum Capacity: unlimited
Students will use the engineering design process to explore solutions for one of the great challenges facing us in the future: climate change and its effects on the pollinators that help produce our food. Participants will have the opportunity to design, build, and test engineering concepts from multiple fields of engineering. Topics include artificial pollinators, alternative gardening strategies, bee-friendly pesticides and many more!
Families must provide basic school supplies (scissors, paper, pencil, etc.), two empty 2-liter bottle, three empty water bottles, and five small plants.
Engineering Entertainment
Amusement Park Challenge
Grades: 5-8
Interactive Session: June 21-25 and July 19-23 (Registration Closes 7/2)

Mac Os Catalina
Students will use the engineering design process to create an amusement park from the ground up! Participants will have the opportunity to design, build, and test engineering concepts from multiple fields of engineering while planning their parks, from site selection and environmental mitigation strategies to first aid to roller coasters.
Families must provide basic school supplies (scissors, paper, pencil, etc.), forks, two empty toilet paper rolls, three medium rocks, an electric fan, and paper towels/napkins.

Programming in Action
Grades: 8-12 and educators (formal/informal and/or all grades)
Interactive Session: June 28 - July 2 and July 26-30 (Registration Closes 7/9)

Students will use the engineering design process to explore programming and its application. Participants will have the opportunity to design, build, and test software development concepts through building applications in Python on the TI NSpire CX II Student Software. Topics include random number generation, creating and controlling a virtual rover, and more!
Families must provide access to a computer capable of running Windows 10, MAC OS X 10.14, or MAC OS X 10.15. If assistance is needed to access a computer, please contact Eric Specking at especki@uark.edu.

Mac Os Versions
Biomedical Engineering is a diverse field that comprises studying at the interface of healthcare and engineering. In this virtual camp, students will learn the fundamentals of biomaterials, biomedical instrumentation, data analysis, and genome engineering. Students will gain hands-on experience in a) learning how biological cells interface and interact with hydrophobic-hydrophilic materials, b) building circuits to measure cardiovascular function, c) designing neural networks to analyze medical images, and d) creating a CRISPR approach to treat a genetic disease.

This program takes more time to complete than our other virtual programs. Therefore, we encourage only those students who can commit to working the entire week to register. The first 30 registered students will be accepted into the program. All other students will be encouraged to select a different virtual camp.
